Another Alumni Update Courtesy of Coach Prater

Coach Prater has submitted the following alumni update:

Sue Novik is rowing on the crew team at UC Davis and recently mourned the death of her pet fish, the only pet allowed in the dorms.  Sue also had a Venus Fly Trap as a "pet" but we aren't too sure how it did.

Adina Farkash has joined her brother Joey on the UC Davis Field and Track Team as she is now throwing the hammer.  For those of you who don't know what the Hammer Throw is, it involves a 4 kg iron ball that is attached to a wire a couple of feet long.  The thrower holds the handle of the wire with both hands and accelerates the apparatus in a circle before flinging it out into a field that is likely inhabitated by burrowing owls.  Don't tell Sue that animals live out there.
